More noises, more concerns, more things that were going bump in the night. This time, rather than the communal baths, whatever was running amok through the submarine had begun plaguing the dormitories. Or, perhaps, it was something else entirely.[break][break]

Maybe this was the handiwork of Killian Decker and his rats.[break][break]

With a sigh, Emma traces her steps back toward the dormitories. Her fingers trace the walls leading up to the rows upon rows of dormitory rooms at the far end of the submarine. Her footsteps slow, however, when the echoes of her footsteps grow muffled. The woman breathes out cautiously, tilting her head.[break][break]

She cannot see, but she can hear and feel that she is not alone in these hallways.[break][break]

Fay had spent the last two months recuperating in the med bay. The injuries she sustained from the excursion were more major than she anticipated, and angelo vestri was to blame for it all.

Thinking of Angelo made her blood boil, the next time they would meet she would make sure he stays underground.

It's been a couple of days since she moved back to the dorms, but Fay couldn't manage to get more sleep. Strange noises could be heard through rockets submarine, and she was fed up with it. Deciding to do something about it since no one else seemed to care.

Wandering around the halls, Fay would soon bump into a face she would recognize, one she detested - Emma. She only knew her as the lunatic who decided to blow up the yacht even though her allies were still on board. She wished to avoid the beast the question changed her mind.

Eyebrows furrowed, "Are you fucking stupid? Monsters? " she laughs, pondering what goes on in Emma's mind.

Fay lets out a snort, "way to point out the obvious." She glances up at Emma, last time she met the admin there was this intimidating aura about her. Tonight that factor was no longer there, Fay was lucky. There was no chance she would talk with Emma if she was normal.

Really? Seems like you are more afraid." Fay couldn't help but egg her on, this was her only chance to do so.
However Fay realizes that there were more urgent matters to be taken care of, "What do you say? up for catching monsters?" She asks with a smug smile.

What was it with children and attitudes? Oh right, their swirling mess of hormones and lack of parental influence. Thanks, Rocket, for your severe lack in parenting skills.[break][break]

Apparently, Emma's intimidation factor had waned since their last meeting on the yacht. Or maybe the beast simply had a soft spot for children and was too damn tired to worry about baring teeth and making little girls wet themselves.[break][break]

Emma does, however, cock a brow at Fay's overconfidence. [break][break]

"Monsters are never afraid, child. We feed on nightmares and cries for help."[break][break]

She doesn't know why she stoops to the level she has, to torment a small child. But she does, and there is a satisfying little smirk that presses to her cheek. [break][break]

Emma chuckles beneath her breath, brushing past the teenager to lead her further down into the dormitories. The further they walk, the quieter it becomes. It is certainly eerie, but not out of the ordinary.[break][break]

in the deep, dark corridors of rocket headquarters, king wanders. there was solitude, and peace to be found patrolling the halls at the behest of senior leadership. but where solitude came in, so did the thoughts and the memories. things he rather leave in the far back of his mind.

eyes narrow in amusement, and challenge, as he spots a familiar figure coming his way. fingers trailing the walls for familiarity, and guidance.

"go to bed, kid. i'll be this ones guide dog tonight."

amusement clear in his tone, even if she couldn't see the grin on his lips.
